Already have a web application or an in-house team? We can build the app that works alongside it, or deliver a self-contained piece of work your developers don’t have time for, and hand it over cleanly.

What you can expect

One accountable person

You deal directly with the engineer building your app, so what you ask for is not lost in translation between salespeople, managers and developers.

Plain English throughout

We explain choices and trade-offs in terms of your users, your budget and your timescale, not jargon.

Built to last

Software needs looking after once it is released. We plan for updates and maintenance from the start, so your app keeps working.

Honest scope

We will tell you what a sensible first version looks like, and what is better left for later, or not built at all.

How a project works

  1. Talk through the idea

We discuss what you want to achieve, who will use the app and what success looks like. There is no obligation at this stage.

  2. Agree a practical scope

Together we decide what the first version needs to do, which devices it should run on, and a realistic budget and timeline.

  3. Prototype the important choices

Where it helps, we build a quick prototype of the key screens or trickiest feature so you can see and try it before full development starts.

  4. Build the application

The app is built in stages, with regular check-ins so you can see progress and give feedback along the way.

  5. Test it properly

We test across the phones, tablets or computers your users actually have, and fix what we find before anyone else does.

  6. Release and look after it

We prepare the app for distribution, for example through the app stores, and agree how updates and ongoing maintenance will work.

Tell us about your idea

A few sentences is plenty to start with: what you want the app to do, who it is for, and any timescale you have in mind.
