The Podcast - Free/Open Source in the Midlands
This new podcast is about Free Open source, especially what is going on in the English Midlands, but hopefully it will be interesting to you wherever you live.
This first episode was recorded in the pub after this month's Birmingham Linux User Group and I interview some of the members standing there. In the last minute or two of the final interview, the sound quality falls away, this is because my battery ran out. Hopefully we get better at this as we do more episodes.
Host:
- Zeth, Command Line Warriors
Featuring members of Birmingham Linux User Group:
- Tim Williams, eLearning consultant, AutoTrain
- Chris Procter, Sysadmin guru and ex-Lugradio presenter
- John Pinner, Linux Emporium
- Alex Denvir, Aston University
- Mez, Secret Agent
- Dave Walker, Ubuntu UK podcast
- Scott James Remnant, Netsplit, Canonical

Sounds good though, apart from my bit obviously!

Are you going to do it again next time?

@Ciarán

CEBCAK?

Nice show.
Would it be possible for you to do a proper podcast feed, so I can plug it into Rhythmbox and leave it?

Nice work Zeth. It was nice to hear how people got into *nix and their thoughts on the talk.

I thought what I managed to see of the talk was very informative and interesting, shame Tim accidentally killed the server at the beginning of the night
