On Sunday, we released we had run out of bread. I was going to go out to get some until we had the idea of baking. I had never done home baking before (at school I did metal work instead of cooking), and I was impressed with how much we could produce in an hour and a half, here is a sample:

Bottom right is a standard cake. Top middle are bread rolls, darker ones are wheat and lighter ones are rye and wheat, and top right are bagels.

The little cakes at the bottom are korvapuusti, traditional Finnish cakes to serve visitors with a nice cup of coffee (albeit tea here in England).
